Liputan6.com, Jakarta With wave of terror attacks haunting many parts of the world, the word ‘bomb’ then cannot be colloquially used on a regular basis, even when making jokes. Apparently some people are still not aware of the dire consequences of using such word, especially when used at places that are sensitive to the word ‘bomb’.

Djoni Suyanto was suppose to depart for Hong Kong this morning using Cathay Pacific airline with the flight number CX 718. He was immediately halted from entering the aircraft from Terminal 2D of Soekarno Hatta International Airport Jakarta as he jokingly claimed that he was carrying a bomb in his hand carry to the airline’s staff Nurul Lolita who was stationed at the counter.

“As he was about to check in at the counter, he told the lady at the counter Nurul Lolita who went to ask him according to procedure what he is carrying in his bad and he immediately claimed that his hand carry contains bomb,” Soekarno Hatta Police Spokesman Endang Sutrisna informs, Thursday (28/1/2016).

Nurul immediately reported such alarming claim to the airline’s security and as the repercussion, Djoni was taken to Avsec for interrogation. He admits that he was just joking that he did not actually carry any bomb with him.

The word ‘bomb’ is not something that everyone can say freely as the growing threats following a series of terror occurring worldwide makes it fall under the category of something that ought to be taken into serious consideration.

Previously, One Lion Air passenger en route Jakarta- Palangkaraya whose name is identified as Jeffry apparently considered such word as a joke and went to exploit it for over three times before the female flight attendant which consequently caused for his detainment.

The 35-year-old male was suppose to board Lion Air flight JT 866 from Terminal 1A Soekarno Hatta International Airport on Thursday 7 January 2016 at approximately 11.00 local time but he was immediately taken for interrogation at a post in the Terminal 1 of the airport after he reportedly said the word ‘mouth bomb’ for three times to the female flight attendant as he was handing over his hand carry luggage.

“He went to say the word ‘mouth bomb’ for about three times to the Lion Air flight attendant Vive Lestari,” Endang Sutrisna stated on January 8 2016.

Vive who was left dumbfounded by what Jeffrey said immediately reported him to the airport’s authority.

“When asked by investigating officer, Jeffrey claimed that he was just joking and that he did not all carry any bomb. He went to explain that the bomb he was referring to was the grotesque fume coming from his mouth as he just freshly consumed Indonesian traditional food Petai,” Sutrisna continued.

Jeffrey was prevented from continuing his journey to Palangkaraya as what he has said previously, despite it being untrue, may harm the safety of others and that such preventive measure to halt any future occurrence akin to this kind is highly necessitated.
