Lamborghini vs Ferrari Duel: from Race in Peace to Rest in Peace

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - A major vehicular accident took place in Surabaya in the early hours of Sunday 29 November 2015. The tranquil vibe in the streets of Jalan Manyar Kertoarjo immediately transformed into a bloody scene following an illegally performed street racing between the internationally acknowledged luxurious sport cars Lamborghini and Ferrari crashed into a booth situated on the pedestrian sidewalk of that street which normally serves the traditional and famous drink made out of combined milk, egg, honey and ginger.

Due to such misdemeanor of the Lamborghini driver which now has been identified as Wiyang Lauther, one person reportedly died with two people severely injured.

One eyewitness who was present at the location, Ahmad went to inform about the incredible speed in which the two vehicles were resorting to prior to the tragic end that led to the death of 51 year-old Kuswanto, one unfortunate customer who was loitering for his drink only to bite the dust at the end. The injured victims suffer from moderate to serious leg injuries with some reportedly broken.

"Both vehicles sprinted from the east and the two began to nudge and clash against each other. That is when the Lamborghini went astray and crashed onto the booth and injured the people that were loitering for the beverage they have ordered earlier," Ahmad informed on Sunday 29 November 2015.

44 year old Mujianto, the owner of the beverage booth was tossed away from the stall he had built to serve customers, leaving him his right leg broken.

"Meanwhile, 51 years old Kuswanto was with his wife to get some milk before the mighty car wrecked havoc and led him to his demise and the agonizing fractured leg his wife has to bear hitherto aside of the sorrow of losing her husband," he continued.

Two of the luxurious sports cars were trying to outrace one another until nudging intensified and thus led to escalating speed of both vehicles.

TWO RACERS FAMILIAR WITH ONE ANOTHER?

Ahmad further explained that as soon as the incident occurred, the driver of Lamborghini seems to realize his misdemeanor, and so forced himself to get out of the vehicle to help the victimized whereas the man in the Ferrari sprinted off the location and headed somewhere else.

"It seems like the two drivers actually know each other because they were previously spotted in the parking lot of a restaurant not far from Manyar gas station where luxurious cars seen gathered," he added.

Police is now still probing on the case and refuses to make premature statement as to what really occur while investigation is underway. (Akp/Tnt)
