Malaysian PM Gently Reminds Nations of Horror over Recent Terror

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak shares that his country will continue to provide support on victimized.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta The cowardly conducted series of terror creating horror in France Capital city on November 13 2015 inevitably invites global-wide bereavement condemning the very existence of extremist group which illegitimately named itself the Islamic State and its often barbaric method of pursuing its interest.

The recent calamitous undertakings of the Islamic State group is not without further consequences. Places where a sea people gather or events where a large group of people expected to attend become the targeted sites for terrorist to conduct terror and for law enforcement to multiply its patrolling personnel.

The 27th ASEAN Summit was officially opened in Malaysia on Saturday 21 November 2015 along with official formation of long- awaited ASEAN community. It came as a relief knowing that the event went safely after previously receiving leaked reports collected by local police which suggest presence of suicide bombers within the region to wreck havoc and hinder the proceeding of the event.

“There have been reports of imminent terrorist threats in Malaysia,” Police Chief Khalid Abu Bakar warned earlier, as cited in The Guardian.

Such information was immediately dismissed by him however, as no further supporting evidence suffice to back up the claim made. It was fortunate for all participating parties at the event that no harm was done and no tragedy was to define the overall peaceful undertakings of ASEAN nations.

Citing from The Star, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak did not forget to include a sympathetic remark over recent tragedy in Paris and the inhumane undertakings in other parts of the world which cover situations in Lebanon, Mali and Sinai region where Russian passenger jet reportedly bombed.

“There cannot be a person in this hall who has not been shocked and shaken by the sickening disregard for human life and the devastation visited on families and communities. Our countries are in mourning, we all share in this grief.”

He then continued informing that Malaysia will be on those who side against the group and outpouring support for victimized can be assured following such horrific incident.

“Malaysia stands ready to provide any help and support that we can, and be assured that we stand with you against this new evil that blasphemes against the name of Islam,” he added as cited Global Nation. (Akp/Rie)
