Muslim Countries Encouraged to Help Dismantle Islamic State

Many Muslim countries are now encouraged to participate in the venture of destroying Islamic states and its inhumane undertakings.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta The Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov went to address a message to all Muslims around the world on Wednesday 11 November 2015 in trying to spur united willingness to combat Islamic States (formerly known as ISIS/ISIL). He personally believes that the atrocities conducted by the extremists are in no way tolerable and that combating such inhumane venture is deemed necessitated. His hatred towards the Islamic States group became solidified following the release of a video showing the execution of 200 helpless Syrian Children by IS fighters who were evidently equipped with machine guns.

“Two hundred children were shot dead. Millions of people in all countries of the world have seen this video and all leading mass media reported this news. Earlier we also saw monstrous killings of women, children and adult men … Muslims die on the hands of those who call themselves Muslims,” Kadyrov wrote on his Instagram account, which he usually uses for public statements, as cited in RussiaToday.

Citing from The Wall Street Journal, previously on October 6 2015, Iraqi Shiite lawmakers together with militia leaders have voluntarily urged Russia to conduct airstrikes on Islamic State militants. This already shows that the Islamic States itself has provoked a tumult even within the realm of Muslim society of its own.

“We welcome Russian airstrikes in Iraq to help hit Islamic State headquarters, target Islamic State supply lines from Syria and target the oil smuggling lines,” said Moeen al-Kadhimi, spokesman for the Badr Corps, an Iranian-backed militia and political party that plays a front-line role in fighting Islamic State.

Russian Ambassador to Indonesia, Mikhail Galuzin has also previously stated that he sought to cooperate further with other nation including Indonesia, especially with it being the home of the majority Muslim population to fight against extremist group.

“I expect we will deepen and expand cooperation in countering terrorism," he said to Liputan6.com during press briefing on October 6 2015. (Akp/Rie)
