RI Visitors Granted 'Easier Access' to Enjoy New Zealand's Beauty

Geographically situated not too far from each other, New Zealand expects growing interest of Indonesian business travellers and tourists in general to pay a visit to the home of beautiful sceneries.

Such expectation was immediately expressed through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) between Immigration of New Zealand, Tourism New Zealand and four selected travel agents yesterday night at Fairmont hotel Jakarta where notion of simplifying visa applications for Indonesian visitors was actualized.

“Indonesia is one of our priority markets for tourism and business events… I’m confident that attracting more high caliber visitors from Indonesia will have a positive impact on the New Zealand economy,” New Zealand Head of Immigration, Nigel Bickle in his speech announced on November 3 2015.

“These changes are good news for New Zealand and reflect the importance that the New Zealand government places on high value visitors from Indonesia,” he continued.

The simplified visitors visa process means that the time taken and requirements needed for the paperwork will be significantly reduced thereby allowing for a massive surge of Indonesian travellers to indulge in the land where nature is effortlessly beautiful.

New Zealand is also increasingly becoming active in the business world and thus conference facilities have been constructed to accommodate business related events in three major cities, Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.

“New Zealand is a fantastic destination for business travellers, with substantial growth underway in conference facilities in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown,” Nigel further informed.

Thus, New Zealand will not only be famous due to its mesmerizing nature and landscape but it will also facilitate business related events dedicated primarily for business travellers who desire to work amidst beautiful and calm sceneries.
