Son of Former RI President: Many People Say 'I Want Pak SBY Back'

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Chairman of Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was at the House of Representatives building earlier today (9/9/2015) to celebrate Democratic Party’s 14^th year of anniversary.

He was there along with his colleagues from the Democratic fraction. Head of the fraction, Edhie Baskoro Yodhoyono, son of the former Indonesian President, took the time amidst celebratory session to inform his father what his fraction has done so far.

He did not forget to report to his father regarding the fact that many people have requested for his father’s willingness to come back into assuming Presidential status. Apparently there are scores of people who desire for Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s return to Presidency.

“So many times I’ve heard people missing my father and his leadership. I often heard people saying, ‘I want Pak SBY back’ and my father also said the same thing,” Edhie said, Jakarta, Wednesday (9/9/2015).

He admits that such flattering remarks made by many people are one the highlights of his life and that he responded with a sincere smile.

“I am truly happy to hear such positive remarks from people, that means our party is getting famous each day and we are loved by the general population,” he continued.

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that his Democratic party is currently preoccupied with agendas designed to help address issues faced by current government under President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla. (Akp/Ein)
