Japanese Woman Killed in Her South Jakarta Apartment

Police have identified the perpetrator as Indonesian male but refused to give information as to the relationship with the victim.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - South Jakarta police located a dead body identified as Japanese national inside her 10th floor Cassa Grande apartment situated in Kasablanka, Tebet, South Jakarta on Monday 7 September 2015. Law enforcers have reportedly identified the perpetrator behind such murder as well.

South Jakarta Criminal Police Resort Unit Chief Officer, Audi Latuheru said that Yoshimi Mishimura, the woman who had been working at PT Yamaha was single handedly murdered by an Indonesian male who is now hunted by the involving authority.

"We strongly suspect an Indonesian male behind this vicious murder. We have probe into this case and we have also yield identification of the murderer," Audie informed on Tuesday 8 September 2015.

"Man is believed to have been working alone and on purpose. We are now on the lookout," he continued.

Though allowing general public to be informed regarding the perpetrator's gender, Audie however refused to give further information regarding the name and the relation of him to the recently murdered Japanese national.

"Regional police department will soon inform regarding the name of the name who killed her as well as his relationship to the victim," he added.

Yoshimi was found dead in her apartment situated in Kasablanka, South Jakarta in the early hours of 7 September 2015 by her driver. Rope mark on her neck suggests the fact that she has been murdered by strangling. Autopsy immediately performed following authority's finding. (Akp/Tnt)
