Peeking into Machinist Room of China Fastest Railway in the World

Such infrastructure development is what currently makes China one of the most technologically-advanced nations in a global scale in terms of its infrastructure. China Railway Highspeed (CHR) takes its passengers en route Beijing South Railway Station to Shanghai Hongqiao Raiwal Station in extraordinary rapidity with its speed estimated at around or more than 300 km/h.

Passengers can immediately see with only a blink of their eyes the rapid alteration of sceneries along the trip. The tunnel that the Highspeed Railway passess through is actually a long one and due to the high rapidity as to how it travels, we can easily see the light at the end of the tunnel in a matter of seconds.

"Normally, passengers are not allowed to enter the machinist room," Bai Lingyan, a representatives from China’s Embassy in Jakarta told invited visitors from Indonesian media on Saturday 22 August 2015.

With this Highspeed Railway, the two big cities in China, Beijing and Shanghai, which is separated by the distance of 1.318 kilometer, can be reached within only the period of 4 hours and 48 minutes. Whereas before, it needs as long as 11 hours and 41 minutes to get to one city to another.

The presence of Highspeed Railway has dramatically transformed the overall transportation system landscape in China and has positively affected its economy and social life.

"For Chinese people, maintaining relationship with families and loved ones is of paramount importance and all this time they have been suffering from the distance that separate them all. Now with CHR, they can freely pay visitation to one another,” China Railway’s Deputy Chief Engineer, Zhao Guotang told Liputan6.com.

Zhao further explains how each unit of the Highspeed Railway is designed with 16-railway coach to carry a large number of passengers.
