Indonesian Embassy in Canberra Woes Over Suspicious 'Package'

The presence of suspicious package was followed by the embassy building's momentary black out.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian embassy in Canberra, Australia has just recently received a potentially threatening package sent by hitherto unidentified person.

The package contains what seems to be white-coloured powder with chemical liquids.

According to the reports made by Australian authority, the package has been safely removed from the site and transferred to secure location where it can be further investigated by local investigators.

Australian authority immediately responded to the news as soon as they were informed by the embassy, regarding the presence of a suspicious package.

A report from News.com.au on Monday (4/5/2015) informs how their quick responses include the deployment of potent chemical detector truck, 4 fire trucks and dozens of police vehicles.

Apart from that, the Australian authority went to sweep the areas around the perimeter as to further assure that the threat does not exacerbate.

The presence of suspicious package was only the preliminary threat as what happens following such threat is even more confusing.

The embassy building experienced momentary black out just moments after receiving such threat.

Questions regarding its linkage with the recently executed Bali Nine duo began to rise but involving authorities cannot yet provide information, whether the incidents occurred as the ramification of Indonesia's capital punishment against Australians, or whether there is no actual connection and that the occurrences were due to other explainable reasons.
