Spain Inmate Girlfriend Writes ‘Dramatic’ Letter to Jokowi

Liputan6.com, Jakarta 9 individuals are now queued in the death row, loitering for their turn to be executed by the firing squads at Nusakambangan.  

The capital punishment may be viewed as arguably harsh, but Indonesian President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is firm on his stance which largely favour the abolishment of drugs and prevention of its potential widespread.

President Jokowi's decision surely invited, not just nationwide but also global-scale criticism as many countries have shown what seems to be a popular outcry directly condemning the assumed to be undemocratic gesture illustrating the nation's inconsiderate violation of human rights.

Following the Bali Nine duo dramatic turn of events which have successfully altered global population's mindset from supporting the eradication of drugs to supporting the former drugs kingpins out of the death penalty, other inmates such as Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso (Philippines) and Sergei Areski Atlaoui (France) also took similar pathway as they pledged for clemency personally requested to president Jokowi himself.

One inmate from Spain with the name Raheem Agbaje also took the time to request for President Jokowi's pardoning but realized that such notion was unrealistic. 

Unlike other inmates who are currently consoled by the visitations of their loved ones prior to the execution, Raheem was seen alone, dwell in uninterrupted sorrow, especially with her lover, Angela not present at the location. Angela however, provides one accompanying asset that she plans to give to President Jokowi.

Angela has written a letter dedicated to President Jokowi, personally requesting the man's consideration and forgiveness towards Raheem. The letter was being filtered through at the Nusakambangan Correctional Institution, Cilacap, Central Java. 

The letter is not without any impact. Many people were drowned in curiosity as they question the content of the letter. 

The letter is now being secured as it is now in the possession of Human Rights Activist who supports Raheem, Ursa Supit.

Ursa informed how the letter is written in English containing message demanding for the execution to be stopped in a more colloquial tone. 

She also mentioned the need to forgive all who are now placed in the death row. 

She ended the letter with personal sentences describing her unconditional love for Raheem.

Good morning everyone,

As Raheem girlfriend I beg to Mr Joko Widodo and all of Indonesian to stop the execution.

They're a good people and they deserve for a second change.

Please forgive them and stop execution.

I love my boyfriend and i do love all of them beg all of you to stop execution.
