Agreed 2015 Regional Budget for Jakarta Amounting to Rp 69,28 T

Liputan6.com, Jakarta After a considerable period of time spent deliberating the 2015 The Budget for Regional Income and Expenditure (APBD DKI) for Jakarta area, both Jakarta government and the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs finally reached a agreement. 

This year agreed APBD DKI amounting to Rp 69, 28 trillion.

"Both involving parties have agreed and understood the thoroughly deliberated budget. We will have this matter presented to Governor Ahok to establish further approval of the budget's legitimacy," Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Syaiful Hidayat informed shortly after conducting a private meeting with the General-Directorate for Regional Financial matter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Reydonnyzar Moenek at the Ministry of Home Affairs office, Jakarta, Monday 13 April 2015.

Reydonnyzar explained how the agreed 2015 APBD DKI is the carefully calculated total amount necessitated for government expenditure, which costs Rp 63,65 trillion and other equally necessary expenses costing as much as Rp 5,63 trillion.

"So the purpose of today's meeting is to have all considerations and perceptions made by contributing parties come into terms, with each other and lawfully accorded to Article 314 Paragraph 8 concerning matters of Regional Government," Reydonnyzar further informed. 

Reydonnyzar continued explaining as he pointed out the fact behind agreed Regional Budget, is not only dictated by yielded opinions of involving parties but also by carefully calculated expenditure, income and other kind of expenses. 

This suggests why the total amount is Rp 69,28 trillion.

Previously, tumult emerged in the regional political arena with Jakarta House of Representatives (DPRD DKI) blatant rejection of e-budgeting system for RAPBD initiated by the Jakarta Government.

The conflict lucratively managed to steal nationwide spotlight which led to the usage of 2014 Regional Budget for this year’s needs. (Akp/Tnt)
