BNN- Police Joint Force Hunts Down Recently Escaped Fugitives

Liputan6.com, Jakarta 24 hours have passed since the day the 10 prisoners from the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BIN) detention building managed to escape. BNN officers are working closely with the police to hunt the fugitives. 

A specialized field team is assigned to investigate their whereabouts and examine the reasons as to why their escape plan went successfully.

As shown on Liputan 6 Pagi SCTV on Thursday (2/4/2015), the event occurred at around 03.00 am on Wednesday. 

The 10 individuals consisting Aceh network and Tanah Abang and Karawang group managed to escape from their cell by sawing the iron bars that have separated these convicts from the outside world.

Up until now, the authority is trying to investigate the questionable fact regarding the convicts access to the weapon or saw that was being used as part of the escape plan. 

Should the fault is on the night officers due to their carelessness, then BNN will sanction them.

The authority invites all layers of society to help them find the fugitives. 

People are encouraged to report to the authority if they happen to come across any of the fugitive on the street.

Police have released the drawings of the fugitive faces for people to notice and acknowledge so that in case they meet any of them they will be familiar with the fugitive faces.

The authority hopes the society would report should they cross by anyone suspiciously similar to the fugitives to cell number: 081221675675. 

They may be unarmed at the moment, but their capability is perhaps beyond many people's expectations as they managed to escape in confidence and hitherto their whereabouts remain unknown. 

One of them was trained to use heavy weaponry and mastered martial art skills as he was the member of Independent Aceh Movement. (Akp/Ein)
