International Drugs Network Widened, BNN Informs the Consequences

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Drugs is among many of the issues Indonesia currently encountering and considered as the one that is not easy to tackle in the near future.

The Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) has for the 6 times in the last 3 months, destroyed crystal meth that was initially collected as evidence from the captured dealers on March 26, 2015.

As shown on Liputan 6 Pagi SCTV on Friday (27/3/2015), as many as 50,7 kg of crystal meth were destroyed by BNN. 

These are collected evidence from 6 suspects that are currently being detained by the police. 2 of the suspects are Indonesians whereas the other 4 reported to have been foreigners trying to deteriorate the widespread in Indonesia.

One of the detained suspects is a female claiming to be a courier who were trapped into doing such delivery instructed by the other male suspect originating from Nigeria.

BNN encouraged every segment of the society to be very careful in picking friends especially the ones from abroad. 

This is not to promote racial discrimination, but to raise awareness of the danger others can pose and the possibility of it coming from outside of the country. 

In trying to further his interest, the drug-dealer from Nigeria has exploited a female courier to do his job and it has been proven that even though the courier is not a user, she will be receiving an equally painful capital punishment similar to those who actually distribute or use it.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Northern Jakarta police has captured 10 suspects from 2 syndicate contingents at both Kemayoran and Cengkareng. 

These men were captured for similar crystal meth dealing case.

The fact that two groups are embedded in such a big network makes it hard for the national police to capture all at once.

Police views their network as intricate where the each individual from the group travel around the country, and many of them are stationed at certain places across the city. (Akp/Tnt)
