Just recently, the staff of KPK is reported to have been terrorized. The Deputy Chairman of KPK, Zulkarnain said that his people will respond to the terror by sending a letter to President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo explaining the current situation.

“We have responded to the situation. We have informed the President and the leaders in the Police Division. We have talked to them so that we could find a solution to settle this issue. Zulkarnain hopes for the terror to be stopped all at once, especially in the midst of KPK- Polri polemic as to prevent the deterioration of the conflict between the two prominent institutions. If there be any terror, surely it will hinder the legal process that is now underway.

"The people is now seeking for justice and hopes for the answer, and terror will hinder the process in finding justice. It could also damage the legal process, preventing it from actually reaching the end point," Zulkarnain continued.

I suppose everyone should remain alarmed with the possibility of terror being imposed on us, we are hoping for the President to find a solution for this matter," the member of team 9 Jimly Asshiddiqie said at the KPK building, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/02/2015).

The terror threat emerged shortly after KPK named Budi Gunawan as the suspect for alleged graft-case. The Deputy Chairman of KPK, Bambang Widjojanto also confirmed the presence of those terror threats.

"As the leader of KPK, we would like to confirm the fact that there are serious terror threats coming at us. It is very serious and it may hinder our investigation process, especially with our staff also equally threatened by these terrors. This is a serious problem" Bambang said. (Akp/Riz)
