Jusuf Kalla to Legitimise AHM 4th Factory This Afternoon

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Vice President Jusuf Kalla will officially authenticate the presence of the 4^th PT. Astra Honda Motor Factory located in the industrial area Indontaisei Sector 2 Karawang, West Java. The official launching will be done this afternoon.

The agenda of Jusuf Kalla as has been informed to Liputan6.com, Thursday (12/11/14), includes the signing of a memorandum consisting mutual understanding between the Chairman of PMI and the National Armed Forces of Indonesia (TNI) Commander General Moeldoko prior to the Vice President’s arrival at the site.

Jusuf Kalla will then head to the location using a helicopter. His arrival at the site is speculated to be at around 11.00 am.

 “Using helicopter to avoid traffic,” said the spokesman of the vice President, Husain Abullah.

The Vice President of PT Astra Honda Motor, Johannes Loman says he will significantly increase the factory’s production from 4,2 million unit to 5,3 million unit on an annual basis. Apart from that, he also explains how the factory will be projected to fulfil the demands and needs for exported goods to several countries as to equally satisfy gradually developing domestic markets.

Apart from the new factory that will be made official this afternoon in Karawang, PT. Astra Honda Motor already possesses three other factories located in Sunter, Pengangsaan and Cikarang.

After the opening of the factory, the Vice President next agenda is to receive the Vice President- Policy at the US- asean business council Marc Mealy. This will take place at Jusuf Kalla’s office at 14.00 pm. Following that agenda, the Vice President will meet the Managing Director of BTN Bank Maryono at 15.00 pm. After that, a meeting with the Minister of Maritime Indroyono Soesilo, ended with a meeting with the Director General of International Labour Organization (ILO) Guy Ryder. (Akp/Ein)
