A number of exceptionally competent alumni are given the award in an annual basis. From Indonesia, the award is given to Mr. Raden Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja. He has successfully portrayed to the University his utmost competence as he furthers his career as a successful businessman and entrepreneur and a generous man in his humanitarian endeavours through various charities. On November 14, 2014, he paid a visit to the UNSW to receive this outstanding award titled Honoris Causa.

A good friend of Mr Eddy, Former Australian Prime Minister Paul John Keating was also present at the Alumni Ceremonial Award.

Keating has also received an award of Doctorate in Law LLD and has contributed to the better relation of Asia- Pacific. (Akp/Ein)
